Our Constitution
Current Rules registered June 3, 2010;
adoption of the current Model Rules (July 1, 2009 version) - giving the benefit
of a number of favourable changes to the relevant legislation. Associate Membership was
added to the classes of membership.

TAAMUG is an Incorporated Association
- Our financial year runs from July 1 to June 30;
membership is renewable in July of each year.
- The AGM is held in conjunction with the August general meeting.
- Classes of membership are as follows:
- Ordinary;
- Family - related persons living at the same address;
- Student - full-time students of any age;
- Corporate - corporate entities, Commercial or Public Service;
- Life - awarded by Special Resolution to deserving persons;
- Associate - persons living remotely, or who are unable to regularly attend meetings.
- Voting rights (limited to persons 18 & over):
- Ordinary membership: full voting rights;
- Family membership: full voting rights for up to 2 persons;
- Student membership: full voting rights;
- Corporate - one vote may be cast, representing the corporate member;
- Associate membership does not confer voting rights.
- Eligibilty to stand for election to the management committee:
- Eligibilty to stand for election is not relevant to Corporate membership;
- Associate members are not eligible to stand for election;
- Otherwise, members who have reached the age of 18 are eligible to stand for election.
